You’re all probably aware of the recent goings on with A&E departments across England. Some hospitals have declared ‘major incidents’, including Walsall Manor a local hospital within the area. This is due to the large influx of people going to A&E. A&E departments in England are failing to meet the target of seeing 95% of patients within four hours during the week ending 4 January.
So do we really want this continuing and affecting the NHS for years to come? We can all try and minimize the amount of patients attending these departments for minor treatments that could be done elsewhere. For example, taking a tooth out.
