Regular Dental Check-ups!
Why do I need regular check-ups?
Regular dental exams allows your dentist to see if you have any dental problems and helps to keep your mouth healthy. Leaving problems untreated can be more difficult to treat in the future. Its best to catch any problems early or even prevent them from happening.
What will the dentist do during an examination?
The Dentist will examine your teeth, gums and mouth. You will be asked if you have had any problems with your teeth and/or mouth since your last visit and advice on your diet, smoking and alcohol habits will be discussed if need be.
What happens after your visit?
After your check up the dentist will discuss when your next visit should be it could be as little as 3 months or as long as 2 years (1year if your under 18 years of age). The lower your risk of dental problems the longer in between visits you can leave.
