We explain what’s happening, what can be done today, and what can safely wait.

Home visits (where suitable)
If travel is difficult, we can advise quickly and arrange support where appropriate.
What counts as a dental emergency?
You don’t need to be “sure”. If something feels wrong, we’ll guide you.
- Severe toothache that’s worsening or stopping sleep
- Dental abscess or infection — gum boil, bad taste, pressure, or heat
- Facial, jaw, or gum swelling (especially if spreading)
- Broken or cracked teeth with pain or sharp edges
- Dental trauma (knocked, moved, or loose teeth)
- Bleeding that won’t settle
If you have breathing or swallowing difficulty, severe facial swelling, or feel seriously unwell, seek urgent medical help immediately.
How same-day emergency care works
Calm steps. Clear decisions. Relief first.
- Quick triage — a few focused questions so we understand urgency.
- Assessment — we examine and take any required checks to identify the cause.
- Diagnosis first — we explain what’s going on in plain English.
- Relief and stabilisation — numbing, smoothing, temporary protection, drainage where needed, or stabilising a tooth.
- Options explained — what can be done today vs later.
- You decide — nothing proceeds without your agreement.
Infection support (when appropriate): If there are signs of a spreading infection or dental abscess, antibiotics may be prescribed only when clinically indicated. We’ll explain whether they’re needed — and discuss the right treatment to fix the cause, not just the symptoms.
Costs & transparency
Costs are explained after assessment and before treatment. We’ll always talk you through options first — and you stay in control throughout.

What patients say
Real experiences from patients at our practice.
Not only do they put you at ease and thoroughly explain answers to my sometimes incessant questions, but I can also confidently say I have no complaints about the multiple treatments I have had over the years despite their trickiness and sometimes low odds of success. A+
I called the Dentist at the practice on Boxing Day in December 2023. I was extremely nervous about attending their practice due to a poor service I received at a different dentist on the Yew Tree, West Bromwich.
I was asked to attend their surgery as they suspected I needed a root canal procedure.
The Dentist put my mind at ease and agreed to inform me fully of the procedure. He had full faith in his ability to deliver a service with no pain to be experienced whatsoever.
I did not believe him but I knew I needed the surgery.
He proved me wrong and I had the best experience at a Dentist surgery ever.
I experienced no pain and no discomfort at all. This was a massive relief for me.
The procedure was expensive however it was what I expected due to the Christmas holidays and also having neglected my dental hygiene for years and not having seen a Dentist regularly.
They had me attend approximately 5-6 times over 2-3 months in order to finish the procedure properly with a crown and fitting.
The staff are friendly and very well trained.
I am extremely grateful for their service and I recommend them to all friends and family.
God Bless you all and good luck for the future.
The level of care and attention to detail was outstanding, and I truly appreciate the effort in making each visit as smooth and painless as possible. I highly recommend the dentist to anyone looking for top quality dental care!
Thank you for the excellent service I will definitely be returning!
All staff members are very friendly and welcoming.
And very professional will recommend to everyone
Found an appointment for same day. And due to being anxious about dentist I was worried about going.
When I arrived the staff greeted me and eased my nerves.
During the consultant the dentist and staff made me felt at ease. Went through each step and then went through treatment options. Needed to have the tooth removed. The nurse and dentist were amazing. Comforted me and also allowed to have my mum in the room with me. They went through the procedure with my and then my after care afterwards. I would definitely recommend to anywho is nervous about going to the dentist like me.
and even other staff is also good 👍
