Independence without the overheads

You want your own patients, your own fees and your own way of working — without buying a practice or signing a lease. The Chair @ 341 is a fitted dental surgery you hire by the day. No associate contract, no percentage of your fees, no long commitment. Book the days you want, pay for those days, and run your own list.

£550 a day, 9am to 5pm

  • One dental surgery: chair, unit, light and suction
  • Use of the decontamination room and equipment for your instruments
  • OPG and CBCT (if you are trained and entitled under IR(ME)R)
  • Waiting area and patient toilet
  • Heating, lighting, water and power
  • Someone to let you in and lock up
  • Your own dental nurse
  • Your own medical emergency equipment and drugs — none is provided
  • Materials, instruments, handpieces and lab work
  • Your own clinical waste bins and bags — you take all waste away the same day
  • Your own booking, records, payment-taking and complaints handling

Full days only. Time after 5pm is £75 per hour or part, paid on the day. Bookings from 48 hours to 3 months ahead. Cancel 21 or more days before for a full refund.

How it works

  1. Create your account and accept the surgery licence terms.
  2. Upload your documents: GDC registration, your own CQC registration, enhanced DBS, professional indemnity and public liability insurance (at least £5m).
  3. Pick a day and pay by bank — scan the QR code or transfer, using your booking reference. Your day is held while you pay, then confirmed by email.

After that, booking another day takes a couple of clicks. You can see and cancel your bookings and update your documents from your account at any time.

Who it's for

Any GDC registrant working independently: dentists, specialists, hygienists, therapists and clinical dental technicians. You must hold your own CQC registration for the treatment you provide, and your own indemnity and public liability cover.

Your patients, your practice

You work as a fully independent practitioner. Your patients are yours: their treatment, fees, records, aftercare and complaints are your responsibility. Every patient signs a short Patient Acknowledgement form on arrival confirming they understand you are independent of The Dentist West Midlands.
