Risks verses benefits
Last thing that we want to do is damage your teeth, so if you have a healthy tooth and you want us to drill it to put some gold on, we will always be very dubious and need you to understand the long term consequences of that.
If you needed a filling or crown anyway, we’d be more relaxed, and say why not go for gold rather than a different material.
Gold teeth on dental implants
We wouldn’t hesitate to put a gold tooth on a dental implant because it isn’t doing you harm… As long as you are sure that’s what you want and if you change your mind later you’ll need to get it replaced.
We get a lot of people asking for this, (surprisingly, we think). Let us know what you want when you come in for your consultation.
