The hospital lost my dentures

We find a lot of dentures are lost when patients are in hospital.

This causes major problems for patients.

You can’t eat because the dentures are lost

  • The last thing that you need when you are receiving from time in hospital is a lack of dentures and therefore lack of being able to eat food properly.

We have experience in replacing lost dentures, and sometime the new dentures can be an improvement on what you already have.

You need dentures done immediately and fast

  • Also you want the dentures made as quickly as possible. Normally dentures take 4 weeks to make. One appointment every week for 4 weeks. We have an arrangement with our dental lab to provide an express service at an extra cost, and so we can get the timing down to 2 weeks, without incurring any compromises in treatment quality. Please let us know if you need this service.

You are bed bound and cannot get out of the home

If you live in the West Midlands, Walsall, Great Barr, Birmingham Area or anywhere within 10 miles of our practice, we can help.

You should be getting the dentures for free

From experience, where the hospital looses your dentures you’ll need to pay for the dentures out of your own pocket, but the hospital will reimburse you. Please ask us for a quote and then check with the hospital. This is a sorry circumstance, and we strongly recommend labelling your dentures, keeping them in a safe box, and keeping them carefully when in hospital in the future to avoid having this situation. Please advise family and friends to do the same.
